I'm planing to ask her out when I'm no longer her student How it works is that teacher's assistants (TA's) and professors cannot date their student's while they are in a position to evaluate their performance.
You can't really mess up her TA-ship by being friends, but if you're planning on being more than that definitely don't do anything like even asking her out for coffee until after you're out of her class.
The reason for that is that it looks bad on her part, since her supervisors have no idea whether or not you're being intimate (which is grounds for dismissal from her TA-ship).
The first draft of this document was distributed to UCLA faculty members and GSA representatives in 1994.
The Northwestern version served as the first draft for this document.
The document was then revised for the UH web site by the Director of Graduate Studies after incorporating changes recommended by the Department Executive Committee and Graduate Student Council (GSC).
This form must be submitted to the Office of the University Registrar in the Welcome Center by the close of business of the last day to drop a class.
